Jackie opened the door holding Symphony.
Jackie:Hey yall its about time yall got here.
Krys gave Jackie a big smile and looked at Symphony she hadn't seen the baby in a while.
Krys:Whats up girl. Hey my sweet Symphony I missed you so much beautiful.
Krys took Symphony from Jackie and took a seat on the two seat sofa. Lib took a seat beside her. It was easy to see Lib was uncomfortable being in Des house. Lams sat in the seat beside Des his temper slowly rising. He clenched his fists as Des patted his leg.
Cat could feel the tension between Lib and Lams she knew it was not the time to play make up, not yet. Everyone was just starting to forgive.
Cat:Hey Lib!
Lib:Whats up Ms.Trina. How things working out for ya?
Cat:Pretty good so far.
Cat winked at Lib and Lib smiled back at her. The room got quiet again.And no one knew what to say. Krys was still holding Symphony.
Krys:Hey beautiful.Oh my goodness your getting so big. You look just like your Mommy.You know 'dat?
The baby laughed and bounced up and down playing with Krystinas hands.
Krys:Talib look at how beautiful she is. I cant wait until we have kids.
Talib laughed out loud and whispered something into Krystinas ear that made her giggle. Why Lib being there was making Lams so mad he didn't know. He didn't think he was right with Krystina or any other girl that he cared about. He could see right through Lib or so he thought. Lib was still the same selfish guy who'd do anything to get his way.
As Des felt Lams hands shake she knew she had to say something. She sighed loudly and started to speak.
Des:I cant believe all of yall made it today. I think this meeting was long over due, we all use to be so tight and although we did some harsh things to eachother some intentional and some non-intentional I think its time that we try to work it out. The only people that need to be talking now is Krys and Tyra and Talib and the boys.
Lams got up ready to walk out the house.
Lams:I cant see myself being friends with someone who almost got me and my girl killed.
Lib stood up.
Lib:Naw hold up Lams Im'a go
He walked to the door as Lams took his seat again. He stopped as he held the door knob and said
Lib:You know what Lams, everyone here, Im sorry for what happened. Its been a whole year and I cant change what happened but I've had a lot of time to think about what I really did and every day its the only thing I regret.
Talib looked down and opened the door.
Lib:Im sorry.... I'll be in the car Krys.
Lib closed the door as Lams mumbled whatever.
Des:Lams I wish you would of just talked to him
Jiz shook his head
Jiz:Damn this is messed up...This is messed up.
Krys got up and handed Jackie the baby.She looked around at everybody and gave a shaky smile although everyone could see her tears were ready to fall. Her heart was breaking for Lib.
Krys:Well I've never really done nothing wrong to any of yall and Tyra I apologized to you, your my sister I love you regardless of our differences.Talib is really sorry yall. I hope yall can see that.
Krys walked out the door.She wiped her eyes before she got to the car. Lib still could tell she was crying her red face and puffy eyes gave it away.
Lib:Whats wrong with you girl?
Krys:I hate this Talib. I really do.
Lib:If they cant see that your friendship is real you don't need them.
Krys:Im talking about you Talib
Lib chuckled
Lib:Don't worry about me Krys, they don't bother me.
Lib started up the car and drove away.

Back in the house no one knew what to say. Lams got up again shaking his head.
Lams:I gotta go get my head together.
Des watched Lams walk out the door and for once she was at a lost for words. She was so sure everyone could forgive eachother.
Johns phone rang interrupting the silence he picked it up and heard the voice on the end and hung up.
Cat looked at him and rolled her eyes.She got up.
Cat:Im ready to go
John:*sighs*me too. We out yall
Des:Thanks for coming I guess.
One by one everyone left until it was just Jackie and Symphony left with Des.
Jackie took a seat by Des and hugged her tightly.
Des:I cant take this anymore. Lams and Lib were bestfriends before I came along Jackie.I feel like all of this is all my fault.
Jackie:Its not your fault, you cant help who you fall in love with. Lams will come around, it might take some time and if not we know everything happens for a reason.

Shawn drove Cashmere home from the movies after getting a phone call from Lams.
Shawn:Im'a pick you up for school at 7:30 ok?
Cash:Ok
Shawn gave Cash a kiss that gave her tingles. She looked at him,his big brown eyes and caramel skin, in a daze ready to give her all to him.
Shawn:You alright
Cash:Yea
Shawn:alright G'night
Cash:G'night
When Shawn got to his house Lams was outside waiting for him.
Lams:Where was you at man.I been out here for like 20 minutes.
Shawn:I had to take my girl to the movies
Lams:Im so heated right now
Shawn let Lams in.Lams nodded a hello to Shawns mother as they walked up the stairs.
Shawn:Whats up with you man, I know its gotta be something important to be up in CVGs hood at this time.
Lams:That nigga was in the same room as me today. I wanted to kill him Shawn. I wanted to...Man.
Lams clenched his fist again.
Shawn:Well whatsup you want me to handle that?All you gotta do is tell me
Lams Put his hands on his head. His head was still so messed up. Why was he tripping off of something that happened a year ago?
Lams:Naw I don't know..Not yet

The next day Tyra invited Cashmere and Krystina over
Krys:This is crazy..This week has been crazy
Cash:I feel you
The girls were siting in Tyras little brothers pool fighting off the Summers heat. No one wanted to talk about the past, it was time for the new.
Tyra:So how are you and Lib doing?
Krys: He told me he loved me. I never thought I'd hear that come out of his mouth
Cash:Yea I know, yall are inseaperable.Im surprised you here now
Krys:Shut-up thats my baby.
Krystina and Cash laughed
Krystina:But you know what I heard?I heard you were back with Shawn.
Cashmere rolled her eyes
Cash:And?
Krystina:And you know what Im about to say.That boy still has ties with CVG and if anyone knows how serious CVG is it should be me.
Cash:Krys nothings going to happen to me I wish everyone would stop saying that and besides Shawn already told me he planned to leave CVG soon.
Krys:Well thats the same thing Lams told me and it took me lying in a hospital bed for him to get out
Cash:Whatever...

2 weeks have passed and Des could see a change in Lams. For one he was hanging around Shawn a lot. Des could not stand Shawn and tried to stay away from him but it was getting harder each day. Des sat in Frosty eating fries.
Des:Hey there stranger
Lams:Stranger? Des I call you every night
Des:*pouting*But I don't get to see you as often
Lams got up from his side of the booth and sat beside Des he gave her a kiss on the cheek.
Lams:Awww my baby misses me
Des laughed knowing she was just being insecure
Des:Lams you get on my nerves you know that
Cashmere met Shawn at his house. He had just got off the phone and she could tell he was upset.
Cash:Shawn whats wrong?
Shawn:Nothing
Cash:It is something
Shawn:Just some business I need to handle for my crew
Cash:Don't tell me its CVG
Shawn:So what
Cash:I thought you were going to leave the gang alone!
Shawns temper was rising and he slammed her against the wall.
Shawn:Why you gotta ask me so many damn questions!
Cashmere couldn't believe this was happening to her. She watched as he walked out the door, then she got up slowly, her back and shoulders in so much pain.
She walked outside just as Shawn was starting the car up
Shawn:You coming ?
Cash nodded her head
Shawn:Well get in then
Cash got in the car, the ride there was so quiet. When they pulled into the Frostys parking lot Shawn knew he had to apologize.
Shawn:Look Im real sorry about that, you just cant be asking me questions like that when Im mad alright.
Shawn gave Cash his boyish smile.
Cash:Alright
They walked into Frostys and took a seat beside Des and Lams.
Des:Hey girl I missed you
Des gave Cash a hug Cash backed away in pain
Des:Whats wrong, you okay
Cash:Oh yea, Im just a little sore from yesterday, me and Krys were play fighting in my little brothers pool.
Cash didn't say a word the whole time she was there.She was still in a daze about what happened earlier
