Laryth smiles at Saeven's graphic description of town life. "I've traveled through many a town and city, and even lived in a few...for brief periods of time, of course...And I must say I agree whole-heartedly with you. That, and the inhabitants raise such noise when you use their huts to sharpen your claws..." she sighs happily.

Deirdre's ears almost seem to twitch. She had lived in the forest long enough to be able to tell when something was wrong, and many of the birds had stopped singing...Not to mention a strange and unnatural scent on the breeze. She tenses up and glances at the others in her group to see if they had noticed it, as well.
