A set of four black paws follows the other wolf, Small Wonder, silent as a cat. The halts when the soft grey wolf lies down, not far away, with his prescense still concealed. Green-on-green cat slit eyes watch the other wolf carefully, seeing overy minute movement. The figure simply watches her like this, for some time, quiet and still.

A small, whimsical smile plays across the figure's features as fond memories come to mind. Of a stubborn, brash shewolf flaunting herself in an opposing clan. Of a helpless, dying mother. Of a stern, quick, and challenging opponent. Of a compassionate and strong leader. A desperate, hurting mother of grown-up children. Of his own love, his only love, his heart.

His smile broadening into a grin, Sarquint crouches down in the brush, eyes set on Small Wonder, and pounces out, tumbling through the forest floor of old leaves with the his love.
