Laryth tries to hide her annoyance at this tree-climbing yeoman. She curtsies deeply, glancing up at him through her lashes. "Aye, sir, we be nothing but simple people traveling through the wood," she says, affecting a slight country accent and trying not to smirk or sound too mocking. "We mean no harm to ye or your lord!" Sometimes, it is better to act stupid when dealing with stupid people so as not to confuse them, she reflects. Especially when they're waving weapons in your face.

Deirdre shakes herself a bit, figuring that the danger must have been imagined since no one else has noticed, and follows after Saeven. Now that she had gotten past her initial fear of the other phooka, she was starting to get anxious to hear what she had to say.
