Tarkin's passive inquiry into her identity unnerves her. Not that she's afraid of him, so much as the idea that someone could so gently open her up. Make her drop her act. But I have no real reason to trust him, she thinks, he could be just trying to break me. Not that she believes that.

~I do not think so,~ Amadeus tells her silently, his amber gaze on Tarkin. ~I think he is right.~

"My name's Autumn," she says after a time, her voice quieter than her normal boisterousness. "I'm not really just traveling. I'm avoiding people. You see, heh," she grins sheepishly, "I have a bit of a price on my head. Which is why I was going to leave."
