It has been over a year since ottie died and I still miss him so much. The days seem to run together and there are times that the lonlieness overtakes me. I think of him and my heart still aches. They say that time heals all wounds but this wound seems as though it will never heal. Ottie was my soul mate and I do not think I will ever find another that will fill the void that is left. I loved him and still love him with all my heart. I have found an escape in school and in the friends that I have made but the void is still so deep. Sometimes it seems endless. I
remember all the good times we had together and I thank God for our baby, Breanna. I look at her and I see so much of
him in her. I loved him in a way that reaches beyond death, it will go on for the rest of my life. i love you Ottie.

What a beautiful and touching tribute to a wonderful man who has gone before his time.Sometimes,as humans, we can not make sense of Almighty God's plans for us...and it is so difficult to accept the loss of a son,brother, or father, especially when he was so dear to all who knew him.
Although I never met you, Ottis, I know you through the memories and words of your family. I am certain that you now walk with God, and someday,may I have the pleasure of seeing you with your beautiful, beautiful family. Watch over us, and may your memory shine upon us !

ottis was a good man i will dearly miss i don't have alot of recent memories but i do rember growing up with him and his sisters with my dearly beloved grandmother and grandfather my grandfather has passed away that i still to this day miss and cry for i wished i could tell him about our three little girls and that one was finally named after him i do miss this man a great deal he was my father and ottis was like my brother and he was just like his father a very loving and compassion man of recent memories other than when he passed away i rember the day that still is haunting me when i went to go see my dad when he lived in kentucky and i went over to see ottis and he could not belive i was all grown up and he had said to me that i was very beatiful and had turn out to be a very attractive women with a head on my shoulders and was proud of me and he had asked me if i knew if he had had cancer and i said no he said it was gone he had beat it this time unless it comes back and the good lord takes him home which it did and the lord did even though the lord has his purposes we need to try and understand and be strong and with him we can ottis i will dearly miss you with all my heart big brother and say hello to papul for me and i will hold you dear to my heart and sorry i did not get to make it and say good bye i love you dearly brother and you will be missed in this home love always your nice amy janow.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss. At least you have your memories- which you can take with you forever! You also have the comfort of knowing that your beloved brother is in heaven with our Lord and savior. Where he is now he will never feel any pain and never need treatments again. I want you to know that you are in my prayers. I also pray to the Lord that if any one in your family isn't saved or wasn't saved that the loss of your loved one hasn't opened their eyes to the path they need to travel.

Peggy, I read all of your website, It was very sad, very touching. Your a stong woman. I guess the only words I can leave you with is to stay strong in God, trust him always, and know that someday you will be reunited with your little brother. After reading what has just been presented before me this evening I can't help but sit back and truly be humbled to this great man who was taken from his family far to soon. I can only pray that I would have the strengh to follow such a man into the battles that he had to endure. Ottis even though we never met I know we would have been great friends. Your family has suffered a great loss and I can only imagine the great thing you could have taught all of us and your children. I only pray that I have the strength to travel down that road when my time comes but, I know you will be there to reach out your hand in friendship and say, "I will help you, Friend." Ottis you are truly missed by those you never meet and that in itself is a mark of a great man.
