Subject: I don't know how long I can take, watching you just walk away from this truth that you have known..

She had gotten the call from her son the night before, and had let it soak in for a bit during the night before she got there, bright and early - she didn't look old enough to have a son of 23, but she felt it - she'd felt old enough to have a son that old since she was 23 herself. She let herself in - she had always had a pretty trusting relationship with Isaac, who met her at the door anyways, pressing a kiss to her cheek and inviting her in, offering her some coffee. She had a sense of excitement mingled with worry - she hadn't seen her daughter since Adam's birthday party and she hadn't heard too many positive reports since then.

She was still passed out in her bed, sleeping off her hangover, though she didn't look too bad, as charlie had taken her make-up off for her last night and pampered her some. She sighed a little bit and wandered out the door of the room, back into conversation with Isaac - she'd never had any problems with him - of course it might have had something to do with that he was her only remnant of Josiah, and she cherished what she had left, and the memories of him.
