Remember the planned development will be many times larger than Nashdom. And it could be argued Nashdom has always been in some way a "residential" building. Also it is closer to Burnham, although still not walkable in my eyes. And, it is an exclusive development like you said. Probably not for common riff-raff who go to work everyday.

People won't walk from CRX to Taplow station - it's too far, and Taplow hardly has any trains stopping. None on Sundays. It is totally car dependent. The bus service mentioned by the National Trust is "initial" and will surely end after about a year of a fiscal loss.

Wow. You live in Bourne End too? Arriva is pretty bad at 317, never on time. I prefer to get on my bike and cycle. Sometimes it's quicker than public transport.

And I agree. It's ludicrous that the Wycombe Marsh sewage works are being built on. The traffic is dreadful along that road, and especially there.

I want a return to the railway between Bourne End and Wycombe. Light rail seems as if it won't connect with the normal railways - therefore loss of proper railway to the rest of the branch line, or a change half way through for some passengers.

You might be pleased to know Sustrans [the sustainable transport charity] has earmarked the old railway line for part of the National Cycle Network, NCN Route 5. Yeah, whatever! It's a dreadful path. My bike would be punctured if I tried.

Anyway, I digress. Continue with CRX ramblings, and remember, be prepared...
