 I couldn't agree more. The development would cause a ghastly amount of traffic and be a scar to the location, not to mention all the other factors that affect the local environment of Taplow particularly, and other settlements in the vicinity. The National Trust are just being pathetic, like they normally are (they don't seem to realise their stately homes are SOOOOOO boring), so it's about time the local people fought against so called national organisations attempting to preserve important sites - this is an important site in the history of medicine, not to mention a wicked place to explore, in spite of despicable vandals trashing it, and everything they can get hold of in there.
Too bad it's too late for me to pick up some good souvenirs.
