Aha.

Was The Flincher a bull? Hmmm. If it's been roaming the area for the best part of a decade, then it's altogether possible. But what about the flapping noises? I know that pigs can fly, but bulls?

Nevertheless, it should be an adventure trying to track it down. I know a guy who kept a huge pig in his yard for a while until it managed to literally munch its way out through the steel fencing (it also ate his sofa). If a bacon-factory can do it, who knows what our determined burger-producing friend might be capable of.

...and on the off-chance that he gets into the hospital grounds, why not drape red cloth all over the buildings? - it might save everyone concerned a fortune in demolition costs.
