Thanks Matt. What can I say except that the whole site was well worth putting together if it can make a single person come up with something like you've just written. Somebody had to say it, and you've put it as succinctly as anybody ever could. I guess that sometimes you have to distance yourself from a situation before you can see all the hidden joys it has to offer. Whilst I've always been aware of the general pointlessness of half of The Shrine (namely the in-jokes and Pwurg stuff) - and indeed have never given a tinker's cuss about what the rest of the universe makes of it all - it's nice to be presented with the notion that it may have potential value further afield than the inside of my brain (and that of Owen and a couple of others). So, if this website has in any way contributed to your writing of that truly marvellous piece of text above - well, I'm glad to have been a part of it all because that's the best thing I've read all week. And not because it mentions Pwurg. Because it makes me question so many things and look at the world (once more) from outside the square. And what a groovy little planet it is too... Cheers dude.
