Subject: Best bit of The Shrine?

Okey-Dokey,

Just to get you all started - What do you think is the best and worst things about The Shrine? These could either be an individual page or section, or merely a general concept.

My answer (and slap me if you think I'm biased in even daring to ask this question, being a webmaster and all - but responses to this question can only improve the site) is:

Perhaps the Mr X interview. I've always thought that it was fairly entertaining. The Flincher tale, whilst well, legendary, is something that I've answered questions about so many times over the years that I'm ever so slightly "over it", though every now & then I'll have a read and it'll all come flooding back. I also like the banter on Ray's new section a lot. And a few of Owen's quotes scattered about the place.

What I don't like? Well I'm probably the last person who should answer that. Bits of layout here and there I guess. But what would be really good is if YOU - i.e. the public - could give your views. Okay though - here's something I really don't like. I've noticed that a number of "serious" ghosthunters (is that an oxymoron?) and related organizations find The Flincher tale hard to take seriously because of the band related stories and general humour on the website. How on earth does that compute? What - because I have a sense of humour that means that that I'm not privy to the unknown? Some of what I've heard is very pompous and stuck up - and there's a general feeling amongst the "proper" paranormal investigation world that it's an upper-class pursuit that everyday folk are forbidden to be taken seriously in. Well, they can eat their own plasma-recorders as far as I'm concerned. But each to their own. So, remember folks - if you don't own a mansion in Suffolk, then you're not allowed to experience an unexplained phenomenon. Got that? Good.

Aaaah. That feels better. Nothing to do with the question, mind. But still. So - what do YOU hate (and preferably something about the website)?

Let's get this baby off the ground,

Damon
