Angry? No, my lady. Not angry. Hurt perhaps, or startled. But not angry. I have learned...learned from others, that it does little good to grow angry at friends, or even those who mean something more. It only causes more grief and pain. So, I turn away, usually, and remain silent. Sometimes though, I forget myself, and grow angry. But not with you. It seems I cannot grow angry around you, even if I wished it. I see the stars in your eyes, and nothing else seems to register in my mind but your beauty.
Gaze remains on her's, knowing his words were true. Even now, he could see the sparkle of a distant starfield glimmering within her eyes, giving her a radiance almost heavenly. He could no more be angry at he, than he could at the stars above.
