Anger diminshes a bit, hearing the pain in his tone. Gaze turns away, seeing the hurt reflected there as well. Tears well in eyes, and she sighs, voice lowered to a whisper.

Leave, m'lord? Where would I go? There is no where else for me to go. And I do not wish to leave. I have made a new friend. Perhaps..perhaps something more. I don't know anymore. I can't even understand my own emotions, my own feelings. I am sorry I blew up at you. I suppose the thought hit me - hard. I see your reasoning, though I do not understand it. Perhaps it is only my feminine mind. I do not think as you. When I entered, I did not see you, and think of the foals I might produce. I had hoped, from even when I was young, that...other things might happen before foals might come. Perhaps they do things here the same as in some other lands. But - but I had hoped for something different. Something more. Perhaps I was wrong. Perhaps I should have kept going after our first meeting.
