Subject: #%^#^$* ER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay...so Dr Carter finally comes back and he's dying??? Or what?? What's going on?? How many tears do they want from their old fans anyway?? I think by the time this season is over I might just say 'Good riddance'! :) Probably not but I HAD to say it!! *g*

And apparently it will all be over by the end of March...going out early in the year!

[> Okay, and I just realized he has returned to the ER on Valntine's day and now appears to be on dialysis...remember he lost the kidney all those years ago on Valentine's day. -- Ceilidh, 07:18:28 02/20/09 Fri

[> DH thought it was dialysis, but I thought it was chemo??? Either way, I noticed he didn't look good. I love ER, but hate one thing about it - it's really rare to have a happy endings. The characters usually die, break up, or fall apart. I would rather see Carter visit county w/ his wife & child - all happy & together. -- Donna Mc, 07:24:17 02/20/09 Fri

[> [> I thought chemo at first (esp after talking about Mark) but then I looked at online speculation and it seems it is dialysis. Which makes sense when you remember he only has one kidney AND was abusing drugs before. When I thought cancer I thought it was so wrong because his brother died of cancer. I wouldn't want to work at county!! Lucy, Dr Green, Romano. Gant, Pratt...that's a lot of DOCTOR'S dying in an ER! -- Ceilidh, 07:32:35 02/20/09 Fri

[> I used to love this show but Donna Mc's right... they rarely have happy endings. Life sucks right now, so watching a show that is seriously depressing isn't my cup of tea. I really wish they'd send this show off on a happy note and not a horribly sad and depressing one. I'd like to remember the show fondly. -- JenK, 11:45:20 02/20/09 Fri

[> I read in an interview with Noah Wylie that Carter is going to seek treatment for whatever is wrong with him at the hospital where Benton now works. And as an aside to Chris, you do realize this is the last season? Everyone will be saying Good Riddance this year, lol. -- Vicki, 08:57:42 02/21/09 Sat

[> Remember the end of St Elsewhere? They implied the whole story had been the fantasy of an autistic child. -- Ruthlass, 21:49:09 02/21/09 Sat
