I loved the glimpses into his train wreck of a family life...and how perfect was Rita Merino (?SP) as his mom? To have his former mentor 'free' him of all his personal baggage was a twist I did NOT see coming! I like that Chris Noth left on his terms this time...he was fired from the original because the considered him 'too old' to continue playing the ladies man.
