There is NO entry fee!

AGE GROUP WINNERS:
For each age group, we will have the following titles given (provided there are enough contestants to award the following titles):

QUEEN/KING
Princess/Prince
Sweetheart
4 Runners Up
Top Finalists

In each age group, there will also be:
Best Eyes
Best Hair
Best Smile
Best Dressed
Best Personality
Best Model

SUPREME WINNERS

0-3 Yrs. GRAND SUPREME
0-3 Yrs. MINI SUPREME
4-9 Yrs. GRAND SUPREME
4-9 Yrs. MINI SUPREME
10+ Yrs. GRAND SUPREME
10+ Yrs. MINI SUPREME
And one overall BOY SUPREME

GRAND SUPREME basically means that you had the "best overall photo" in that age bracket, based on:
the person in the photo (facial beauty, overall appearance, outfit, expression)
AND
the photo itself (overall look of the photo in terms of quality, style, etc.).

MINI SUPREME is basically second place to Grand Supreme.

If you're wondering why there's just one Supreme title for boys, it is simply because there's usually not as many entries in photo contests for boys, so they probably don't need more than one Supreme title. However if there are several entries then I will add another Supreme title for the boys.

OVERALL WINNERS

Plus there will be the following titles:
0-3 Yrs Overall Most Beautiful
4-9 Yrs. Overall Most Beautiful
10+ Yrs. Overall Most Beautiful
And, for the boys...
Overall Most Handsome

This is sort of like the Supreme titles, except it is strictly based on facial beauty in your photo (not judging the actual style of the photo itself) just your face only.

Age Groups:
Girls: 0-1 / 2-3 / 4-6 / 7-9 / 10-12 / 13-15 / 16-19 / 20+
Boys: 0-2 / 3-6 / 7+

Rules:
1) Only ONE photo per contestant.
2) Photos should be professional, glitz headshots.
3) Remember headshots only! Not portfolio pics, etc.
3) Photos may be color, sepia, or black-and-white.
4) All entrant's photos will be posted on this blog, and the winner's photos may be posted on various pageant congratulations message boards.
5) Photos are due by February 20th. Winners will be announced by the following week.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

You MUST adhere to the following guidelines, please:

Send the entry photo by email, as an attachment.

In the subject line of the email, please type: "photo contest"

In the actual email, please type:
1) Name of the contestant
2) The contestant's age
3) If we should post the contestant's full name OR if we should post first name only.
(We do not want to post your child's full name anywhere without your consent.)

You email your photo to:

NOTE:

ALL winners will have a photo banner posted up on this blog (also will be posted on pageant congratulations message boards). This is a free service, all our winners are entitled to this and it is not something that you pay for.

For the winners, I will be offering tiaras and embroidered title sashes
available for purchase if you would LIKE a souvinir of your win- But you are NOT required to buy them- the contest itself is totally free!!!
Purchase of souvinir tiaras and sashes has NOTHING to do with how the winners are chosen, so it doesn't matter if you purchase them or not, it has nothing to do with scoring.

The reason I decided to do it this way:
I wanted to be able to offer a FREE contest, because that would make it available to everyone...
There are so many great photo contests out there, BUT if you have to pay a lot to enter, then you just can't always do it in these tough economic times...
Plus, you never know if you will win or not, so you could have paid a large entry fee to win nothing at all...and that's so disappointing and feels like a waste of money!
With this contest, since there's no entry fee, everyone can afford to enter!
And, with no money involved, and no prizes to send out by mail, you never have to give out your home address! (Unless you choose to buy a souvinir tiara and sash).
But since giving out your mailing address is not required, this contest is a lot safer.
I know some people like to have the crown and sash to say they won, so I decided to make those available for purchase just in case that's something of interest to you.
