I haven't seen you lately and I didn't know if you knew about the party. *Self-consciously, she tugs at the hemline of her dress and brushes her hair from her face. She digs her toes into the sand, concentrating on the feeling of the sand grains tickling her feet and trying to banish the feeling of embarrassment and self-consciousness. She curses herself silently, wondering how she could be so self-assured as a horse and so weak as a human. Sighing miserably, she searches out a nearby table with a canopy and plops unceremoniously down into the chair sitting near it. She and Zackari had never really been alone and she was ashamed to admit that she really didn't know how to act around him*
