趙薇9月將有多部作品在美國上映。

今年9月，美國戲院會先後上映趙薇的兩部舊作「少林足球」、「夕陽天使」，而她的新作「天地英雄」又被看好代表大陸角逐明年奧斯卡最佳外語片，一連串影片攻勢，極可能讓她就此建立國際知名度，成為媲美章子怡的國際明星。

在大陸，趙薇早就是和章子怡齊名的當紅花旦，但在國外，章子怡藉「臥虎藏龍」與「尖峰時刻2」打出的名號，始終是其他人難以企及，而趙薇自從轉進電影圈後，發展尚稱不錯，也引起不少重量級導演的注意，加上她在內地的超人氣與觀眾緣，一直被看好可望成為繼章子怡後，另一個成功登上國際舞台的大陸女星，如今「少林足球」、「夕陽天使」與「天地英雄」接連在美國上映，內地媒體都在密切期待票房的結果，也都對趙薇是否正式進軍好萊塢充滿好奇。

日前趙薇出席一個慈善晚會時，正式回答了這個問題，一如所有華人巨星的「標準答案」，她也認為這是可遇而不可求。不過她在3部電影中的戲路、造型與演出都有極大的不同，呈現出頗高的可塑性，對她在好萊塢影人心目中的印象成績，絕對是加分，也因此為她的「西進成功」增加了不少勝算。
