何潤東、孫儷主演的電視劇「玉觀音」正在大陸熱播，謝霆鋒、趙薇主演的電影「玉觀音」則在雲南趕拍中。同樣取材自大陸知名作家侶海巖的原著，影視兩版「玉觀音」誰的法力高，日來在大陸掀起一股評比的熱潮。

就主角而論，謝霆鋒、趙薇的電影版在雲南開機時，吸引3000多名影迷包圍的狂熱，足以顯現其魅力。只是，當慣演「傻大姊」的趙薇，為該劇扮女警的劇照上網後，卻被評為「黑貓警長」，有些卡通；而謝霆鋒叛逆形象雖符合劇中人，但大陸媒體似乎不太接納他。而何潤東則是侶海巖欽點，他認為男主角「毛傑」就該長這模樣；孫儷雖沒演出經驗，但眉宇間的硬氣，正是侶海巖筆下的人物。


幕後組合上，電視版由侶海巖自己編劇、丁黑導演；電影則由岸西編劇、許鞍華導演。27集的電視劇，在雲南、加拿大、北京拍攝，雖然極盡煽情，但在丁黑寫實手法下，該劇在某種意義下更像「公安戲」。而許鞍華與岸西的特點是溫柔細膩，所以電影版的「玉觀音」更以「情」字為主軸。

影視同炒「玉觀音」，使得該劇熱潮已延燒到台灣，目前，已有多家電視台忙著聯繫購買該劇版權了。
