　　新華網北京11月18日電(記者呂諾)影星趙薇今天接受了「全國希望書庫愛心之旅」活動形象大使聘書，並向這項公益活動捐款10萬元人民幣，用於為安徽、河北及西部地區的20所農村學校購置100套希望書庫及配套書架。

　　趙薇今天在「全國希望書庫愛心之旅」活動啟動儀式上說：與城市中生活的孩子一樣，偏遠貧困地區的孩子們也同樣有著強烈的求知慾，而可供他們讀的書卻少得可憐。任何一
個有責任感的人都會盡己所能奉獻力量。作為這項活動的公益形象大使，我呼籲全社會有更多的人伸出友愛之手，參與到這次活動中來，為農村渴望讀書的孩子們做件好事。

　　據瞭解，「希望書庫」是希望工程的子項目，從1994年到1999年，在社會各界的支持下，1萬套《希望書庫》的500萬冊圖書送到了農村中小學校，建成了1萬個小型圖書室。「全國希望書庫愛心之旅」活動將利用新近推出的小套型《希望書庫》在中小學班級中建設「希望書庫讀書角」，繼續推動農村及小城鎮學校學生的讀書活動，並通過調研進一步瞭解農村地區中小學校師生的讀書需求，以便動員社會力量為他們出版和捐贈更新更好的書籍。

　　中國青少年發展基金會常務副理事長徐永光說，我們熱切希望社會各界響應趙薇的倡議，踏上希望書庫愛心之旅。書籍的海洋將托起一葉葉希望的小舟，「愛心之旅」連接的將是孩子們的成才之路。(完)
