This post pertains to a one of a kind reunion for all members of the Army Transportation Corps, past and present; and anyone else interested, civilian or military; in the Army Transportation Corps. The reunion is known as The Gathering. Dates of the reunion are 11-15 June, 2003 and will be held at Fort Eustis, Virginia. It can basically be said Fort Eustis is organizing and sponsoring the reunion. Because of this, The Gathering is expected to, and will, be of a greater scope than most reunions. Nationally well known military history groups, military equipment restoration organizations and reenactment groups are scheduled to perform or display. Noteworthy, Bill Parker will have his very authentic replica 5-ton gun truck, The Untouchables, on display. Presently, this is the only operational replica Vietnam War gun truck in the USA.
