hope is dead, and as i dread i find i have no use.
i see it standing on a chair, around it's neck a noose.
it lifts it's head and looks at me with a strange and pleading gaze.it says to me,"My wasted life is now a distant haze."now i hear it laughing, although this was not
fun. it kicks the chair and with a snap it's sorry life is done i move a bit closer and then drop to my knees.
i have just noticed that this empty shell is me.
is all hope for me really dead?the answer i do not know
but if i stay in this present dread this is where my life may go.
