I injured my foot on the front steps of the building in which I work during a dinner break.
(The 3 steps are semi-circular, surrounding the front of an entrance rotunda, with the bottom step being flat with the sidewalk at either end of the semi-circle, and the mid-section of the bottom step is approximately 1/2 the depth of a regular step height.)
I missed two days of work and my right foot was severely sprained.
My employer denies coverage to me "because I wasn't actually on the company's leased premises". Is this true?
