I would Just Like to know what the hell is being done to protect Bus operators. This week alone two Bus operators were punched in the eye on separate incidents why because they said the fair is $1.50. These and many other incidents are occuring system wide and they are being covered up with 0% media exposure. Crimes on Bus operator's include Rape,Stabbing,Being, shot at, and being robbed at gunpoint for personal belongings, and being severely beaten. Something needs to be done to stop the cover ups and get us the protection we deserve, and yes these are incident's that have occured at my depot and I'm sure have ocurred in many other depot's on a daily basis. yes this is a desperate cry for help not only for myself but for all of us who are Just trying to do our Jobs. The transit Authority keeps coming up with new and creative ways to screw us by spending money on boxes they have placed at the top of street light's that pick up a signal from a bus going by and transmitting that signal back to console, so they'l know if your running hot. This is a ridiculous and expensive venture the money they spent on that could of been used to put video cameras in buses, that way people will be a little more reluctant to take a swing at a bus operator. If you have any feedback or suggestions please E-Mail me with them Thank You All.
