that is big mistake. then MTA NYCT subway have to spent $1.450.000.05 billion buying new subway cars that would replace Rail44 & Rail46.

MTA NYCT should consider Rail160A/B replace the Rail40 , Rail32 , rail38 , Rail40slant , rail42 , Rail46 , rail44.

MTA is buying more of Rail160. by of 2008 January , what would MTA do to Rail32 , Rail38 , Rail40 , Rail42 , Rail44
, Rail46.

i would consider them put those car into :

1. Museum
2. scrapped them
3. reef them

car number that should be rail160A is:

#8973 - #9282 ( 5 car unit) built by ALSTOM
#9283 - #9332 ( 4 car unit ) built by ALSTOM
#9333 - #9552 ( 5 car unit ) built by Kawaski
#9553 - #9672 ( 4 car unit) built by Kawasaki

the last 120 cars purchase in 2009 - 2010 of Rail160B/A
should go to SIR.

car number will be : #403 - #522
