Brother I feel your pain. I'm an OA operator from Gun Hill and would like to be on the TA side since I live in Queens.
The answer to your question is you would have to apply to OA and start all over again including probation. You would get to skip training. The only hope we have is if regional bus comes thru. This has been proposed in the next two - three years and will combine TA OA, LI Bus and the Queens private lines. So hope is alive.
Maybe we could just ask them to do an even switch :)
