 I lived at 42 Lettoch Street Winealley Govan for 15 years of my life..
I remember, the ragman, my da drunk( the cops then would make sure the old man got home ok.) a piece an jam or sugar getting thrown tae yae oot the windae,money for the meter for gas..if yae ran oot yae lit the fire and burned just about anything.lots and lots of old memories..We were poor and enjoyed the simplest of
things in life then., but not under the stress you have nowadays to just survive..pitifall isn't it..ah memories of where wae came fae. My ma's name was Isa Kelly, brothers John,Stevie,Tony,Billy and Ian..Step-father Bill Heirs.
