I'm considering taking a fabulously luxurious flat in Partick, but need somebody to share (the rent) with.
This place is a third floor flat in a refurbished print-works building, with wooden floors everywhere but the kitchen and bathrooms, where the floors are slate. It is amazingly kitted-out, with surround sound in the huge lounge [Linn system], an open-plan kitchen fully-equipped with brushed steel appliances, as well as an espresso machine, cable TV and a broadband internet connection.
It is furnished in a clean, minimalist style (this is not a euphemism!) with wooden venetian blinds.
The main bedroom (mine) has a small en-suite, with shower, and there is a second larger bathroom with bath and separate shower, which would be yours. Your bedroom is big enough to comfortably accomodate a double-bed (which would be provided, unless you prefer the futon which is there at the moment), but is not huge. However, I think that the unbridled luxury of the rest of this dwelling more than compensates! Also, there is secure underground parking for one car, and since I do not have a car, this would be available for you too.
I am a 27-year old female professional, but I'm about to take 'a year out' to study painting at the Glasgow School of Art. I love hip-hop and cooking (mainly Italian), which means you could be catered for (vegetarian), provided that you are prepared to put up with high-volume Eminem et-al.
If you are interested, the rent is £850/month (for the two of us), but you would not be expected to pay less than half, as I will be taking the bigger bedroom!
