I saw your message and wondered if you remember my family? My mum and dad came from there,although it was Palm st my dad stayed in before he married and Myrtle st afterwards. I think my mum lived in Cedar street. My dad is Donald Nicolson(Nicky) and he was born in 1929 and went to St Georges rd school.He had brother's Johnnie and Alec and cousins Donnie and Murdo McKinnon and a sister Isa. My mum was born in 1932 and went to St Columbas school. Her name was Chrissie Corr. She had brothers Chic and Bill and sisters Margaret and Mary.My mum died in 1975 but my dad is alive and well and living in Blairdardie. I would love to know ifyou have any memoriesof them or any old pics of the area as I was born in Myrtle st too but cant remember it. Bye for now Christine.
