Hello,
My grandfather..Hugh McGifford..moved to 35 church street Partick when he was married in 1913. He lived there until he immigrated to Saskatchewan Canada in 1925. It is beleived that his father ..another Hugh McGifford...was porter in the Helen Street Fever Hospital of Govan in the 1880 through 1900 era. Does anyone have information or pictures of the Church Street tenwements or information on this hospital. Thanks from Canada,
Marilyn
