Subject: gorbals life Author: jon bausor [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:23:02 05/06/03 Tue I am currently researching Gorbals life for a play I am designing called Bread and Butter by C.P.Taylor which will tour to Dundee Rep, Edinburgh Traverse and Glasgow Arches in June. I am trying to find out any details of single tenement life that I might not have come across in my research and wondered whether you might be able to share any with me regarding the interiors, clothes etc Also there is a character called Miriam and her husband Alec who work in a garment factory (making greatcoats for soldiers) and I wondered what they might wear at work- a special dress/ apron/ overalls?
