With boredom to also encourage a hunt, he sets off to find a source of prey. His snout set high in the air with deep intake so scents can come upon him. He smells that of many prey but decides on that of a large hare. He could tell the hare was old in wisdom but also in strength and ability. He stalk his prey and at just the right moment leaped. The hare stared at him for a split second before turning to run at its full speed. Timber chased the hare for several moments before his final leap caught the hare between his jaws. He pushed the rabbit into the ground and snapped its neck. By now, he was far from the mostly used areas of the terra. He travelled back to where he'd first entered the terra and talked to the pups. He layed the hare down near Dark Moon and backed away so she could eat her fill. He would eat only after those of higher rank picked at his hare.
