Subject: note from Dave Vaughn

David,

An excellent idea!

I'll do it, but a little differently.

I'll title the article "World Bank Endorses Gold!"

David,
It must have been the weather that inspired your latest article.
Enjoy reading your output, especially one recently about Bralorne-Pioneer, which seemed to put all the research parts together into a complete package -- very nice work.

What prompted me to write was an article, which received wide attention, by some pompous banker, who said gold would fall to $300, etc. .... you know the one. Well, it was stated therein that there would be a significant rise in gold production this year .... one of the reasons stated for the supposed falling price for gold.

Of course we know that no such increase in production is soon forthcoming. As if by a snap of the fingers a gold mine is brought into being .... sort of like magic, I'd guess.
This is where I thought of you.......
A published article by a well respected, knowledgeable analyst [such as yourself] detailing the story of a mine, 'from discovery to production' .... hey! sounds like a title. I would guess that not many people, even those of us interested in gold & goldstox, realize the very long, complex process involved in the making of a mine.

Much like the prospector of old, danger lurks at every turn. One missed step, be it failure to file proper claims or satisfy other of the many governmental demands, could result in failure or at least long delays. The environmental concerns are an absolutely huge issue to be dealt with, etc., etc. ..... Well, you get the idea. With your many sources of information I'm sure you could do a magnificent job of making the public more aware of the time & expense involved in the gold mining business ...... let me know what you think.
Thanx & regards ....... siempre ...... David
