Subject: Jason on Clifton

Jason, my observations about CFTN have accumulated
over the past two years & have nothing to do with my
personal feelings about the co. ... this is not sour
grapes, but rather I judge each situation as
objectively as possible....

1) this is a 'pink sheets' co. & has been for years
.... there's either a lack of desire or an inability
to get even to the OTC:BB level; thus, no bid & ask
can be gotten for online trading.... you have to call
your broker to buy ... a huge disadvantage...

you can buy pinksheets without calling a broker at
both of the following:

ameritrade.com and penntrade.com

Also, a lot of the tiny silver companies are
pinksheets, like sterling mining.

2) the stock price has never gone over 56 cents (May
28, 2002) .... at the precise height of that gold
stocks bull market....
3) the co. is not forthcoming with news about their
plans or the latest developments...example: the co.
led investors to believe that Cane Springs would soon
be developed in 2001....after months had passed a
geologic report was published on the website [no
longer available] which divulged that a flooding
problem would have to be resolved before development
could proceed.....
4) the co. has no interest in being a miner, but
rather is totally focused on the ASAP solution
business....

I also find that completely acceptable, if not
desireable. Selling silver at these low prices is not
something I would do, and thus, it is not something I
would expect my company to do.

5) when I talked with Mr. Moeller he seemd sincere in
his desire to move forward with plans, but
regrettably...non-actions speak louder than words...
6) nowhere on the co. website does Clifton state that
they have 50 million ounces of silver (Mr. Moeller
does state that they have 4.8M silver oz, hoping for
more) ....the larger figure is an EXTRAPOLATION number
by Behre Dolbear (in a report by Wall Street Report)
from the Clifton Shear Zones, from which no actual
drill testing nor assay results have been
published..... just what work was done to extrapolate
the 50M number I am not aware....

Here are the sources for that:

http://www.cliftonmining.com/wsreview.htm --source of
100 mil oz. resources est.
http://www.cliftonmining.com/resource.htm
From:
http://www.siliconinvestor.com/stocktalk/subject.gsp?subjectid=13531
"A previous geologist has talked about a possible
resource of 1 billion oz. of silver, and 5 million oz.
of gold."
100 mil oz. silver

7) Dumont has a 50% interest in these projects & not
until Sept. 17 did they even send a team of geologists
to the Shear Zones to take a look, but rather have
been concentrating their total efforts on the Cane
Springs gold project....

By the way, that geologic report on Cane Springs
didn't look all that great to me....they went right to
the heart of where they expected to find the richest
ore & came up with what?....3 grams ave. per
ton....not what I'd call sterling (pardon the pun)....

Enjoy your research...keep them coming....a couple of
new finds since I last wrote...GOZ.V...Gold-Ore, of
which John Embry's fund holds an 8.3% stake...and one
I forgot to mention before, which is BGS.V... Ballad
Gold & Silver...has an option on property from IMA
Expl. ....gotta go... siempre
