Subject: Daphne job hunting

Heya Dad,

I'm trying to get a job in Boise - only thing is, their school district doesn't have any openings at the moment. The reason I was looking at Kuna is leave open the possibility of being able to drive into Boise often, even if we live just outside of Boise.

I'll have to check out the website of Kuna H.S. more carefully - I only looked at it briefly last time I saw it.

By the way, I liked the spiffy 360 degree view of the Manning Park picnic area!

Yeah...Boise is definitely the top choice. I just saw a job opening in Meridian for an English teacher at Mountain View H.S. - guess I'll be applying there, too! Also, Boise is looking for a 7th grade English/Language Arts teacher. Only thing is, I don't want to teach junior high!

Daphne, take a look at some of the apartment complexes in Boise....I liked Whistler Point, which is right on the Boise River....& some in other towns.......I was not very impressed with Kuna High School....they had a lot of spending cuts in the past two years....seems to be more concern over money than about the students themselves....some parents complain that teachers don't communicate well with them....in general Kuna seems to be the "poor stepchild" of the county....Boise seems a much better choice....haven't checked out individual schools there though....here's some more info on Boise...
