That night she made her way to the creek, wondering if Scotty would show up. "Hmm..." She looked around. "Come to think of it, I never found a den for myself. Perhaps I will find one here." She walked along, scouring the area until she came across a hollowed out shelter in the base of a hill just by the creek. It opened into a roomy den, with extra room space off to the side. She gazed at it a moment, gathering all the details and storing them in her memory, then stepped inside. She lay down by the entrance, letting the moonlight bathe over her and listened to the sounds of the night.
