Subject: @~*-^-*~Flash Flood~*-^-*~@

~Up high in the wide open sky, white clouds drifted across it while the sun began to set. Such a pleasant and calm evening as it seems would soon be interrupted. The sky grew dark yet the sun was still to high for it to be night. The once clear sky was blanketed with dark menacing clouds that barely let the sun glow through them.
Booming rumbles echoed throughout the land of Black Pines Canyon. Soon sheets of rain poured down, it only took a few hours of the continuous down pour to statuette the earth. The earth took in as much water as it could take, the ground was thick with mud. This would only be the beginning of the packs problems....
The lake on the other hand was getting bigger and the island at it's center, was slowly going under with the few tall trees in view. All the land around the lake was consumed by the rising water. The rain still poured now, a bit harder that it was hours earlier. Moving on the forest was being beaten by hazardous winds and heavy rain.
The creaking and cracking of the breaking trees where everywhere to be heard. Timeless trees that had for almost forever could barely with stand the stress of the weather on them. Fallen trees where scattered all over the orchard and the thick black pine forest. Water kept rising and the forest to the orchard was flooded mostly under water. The creek & all the hot springs weren't to be seen from the flooded forest. The clean&clear water fall that had a crystal pool was murky and muddy.
All continued as we speak....fallen trees floated to the trickle that was within the canyon and the plateau, now raging wild rapids filled them. The flats had a shallow sheet of water trickling outward. And the once green lush meadow is now a battle field with feet of thick unforgiving mud.
High ground was now the only safety to the lands wolf inhabiters. The mountains, high peeks, and random places above in the canyon and plateau. If the weather continued like this all would be lost. The roaring of the thunder was present still and the sky lit with lighting draping the cloud covered sky.
Noise of rapids filled the land hidden under water, peace and clam was not to be heard...luck would have it, the rains lightened to almost nothing. Danger was still there cleverly hidden, but the sounds you could hear could only tell you the worst wasn't over just as of yet.~
