Subject: Another Hope Crushed...

~Dakota sulked into the springs after walking off from the canyon where Tatsu and himself had been having a good time, up until now. His ears still laid flat against his head, which was still wet from the wrestling the two of them had been doing prior to the argument.~ I cant believe it...duped again. I dont know what got into me...what made me actually think that she would be different then any of the other wolves who took my trust and then ripped it into millions of pieces. What a fool I am to think anything would change. That anyone would be different. ~He said sadly aloud to himself.~ I should have just listened to my concience. Just stayed alone and kept away from everyone like I had vowed to do after the second time I got tricked into trusting someone. But no, I just HAD to think that for once I actually found someone who wouldnt do that to me....and now look at me. The same damg thing happened to me, AGAIN! ~He barked furiously at himself, smacking down HARD on a rotting log with anger, causing it to decentegrate into hundreds of pieces. He walked on, and noticed the spot that him and Tatsu were at hunting, just before they had to reatreat to the canyon to get away from the flood. He lied down there, and lied his head on his paws. Starring out into the vast springs area. What trust he had gained back at all from Tatsu had just merely been shattered, demolished, back down to nothing. He didnt care if he never saw or spoke to another wolf again for the rest of his life. A wave of depression and hopelessness poured over him at that very moment...~ I have nothing worth living for...~He said in a tone with absolutely no emotion put into it. His jade-green eyes fading back to the same, untrusting haze they werr the first day he arrived here.~
