She wandered into the lightning flats, feeling the sky crackle with electricity. It sent a shiver of excitment through her, reminding her of danger and her days as a pup. She looked over to see the gruff looking wolf, glancing him over a moment as was her habit before sitting some distance away, watching the sky light up with flashes of lightning and listening to the steady roll of thunder that so reminded her of her brother's heartbeat. She tried not to encroach on the other wolf's space, he looked bored and pretty annoyed, but at least, she thought in relief, he was quiet. The other wolves she had met were friendly but...it was a bit suffocating, she prefered less enthusiastic company.
