Kaunis ja siro kuono hukkuu pitään karvaan ja koiruus näyttää lähinnä terrieriltä. Villiksen kuono kannattaa ajaa koneella siistiksi! Aina kun viikset alkavat törröttää tai viimeistään kun kuonokarva kääntyy kiharalle, on aika ajaa kuono eli n. 2-3 (max 4) viikon välein (näin ainakin meillä). Ei muuta kuin kone käteen ja kuono siistiksi!
