Kaverini valitteli samaa kun oli ajellut koiransa koneella hyvin lyhyeksi j�tt�v�ll� ter�ll� (Moser Rex, 0,1 mm). Itsekin k�yt�n samaa konetta, jolloin s��d�n ter�� v�h�n ylemm�ksi, jolloin en siis ajele ihan "nahoille". Joskus takavuosina kun sit� lyhyint� leikkuuta koitin niin ihoon tuli naarmuja. Yleens� kun trimmaan koiraa, jonka my�s pesen, niin ajelen ensin ja pesen koiran heti per��n, jolloin pieni karvasilppu huuhtoutuu pois iholta.

Kyll� koira muutoin tottuu ajeluun ja raapiminen j�� v�hemm�lle, jollei ihoa �rsytet� esim. ajelemalla verille.
