Samanlainen liuos kuin exspot, niskaan laitetaan ja kuukauden vaikutus kestää. Varsinaisesti stronghold on nenäpunkin hoitoon, näin ainakin eläinlääkäristä sanottiin, mutta esim. rajavartijat käyttävät paljon tätä koirillaan, ja heillä on myös tavalliset punkit pysyneet poissa. Omissa koirissani en ole yhtään punkkia nähnyt sen jälkeen kun liuoksen laitoin, sitä ennen kyllä oli muutamia jo kesän alussa.
