Keski-Suomessä ei tunnetusti ole tällä hetkellä virallista paikallisosastoa. Kaikesta huolimatta me alueen villakoiraharrastajat emme ole vielä täysin luovuttaneet, vaan edelleen pyrimme alkakavana vuonna ideoimaan villakoiramaista toimintaa ja luomaan ja "tukihenkilöverkostoa" täkäläisten kohtalotovereiden kesken. Allekirjoittanut toimittaa yhteistyössä muiden paikallisten kanssa satunnaisesti ilmestyvää sähköpostilehteä, johon on koottu täkäläisiä uutisia, ideoita ja yhteystietoja.
