Kun koirasi on tottunut niihin, parin syöttökerran jälkeen, anna niitä säännöllisesti niin tottumus ei "katoa". Tämä siis oman kokemukseni perusteella, käsittääkseni esimerkiksi Pirkon koirat ovat alusta saakka sulattaneet hyvin raa'at luut. Omat koirani taas voi oksentaa hieman sulamatonta luuta jos eivät ole vähään aikaan niitä syöneet. Minäkin olen joskus syöttänyt lonkkaluita.
