He ruffled Hugo's mass of furry head easily, and gently took his paws down off of his lap. "Dad wants me to go work in the office for him again.." Which would be good too - there would be more money, though he wasn't sure how happy he would be doing that - he was a lover, not a fighter, and law wasn't his cup of tea. He wanted, however, to start a fund for some big expenses later on, namely a wedding, house, kids..

  • Her brow furrowed a touch at that and she couldn't help but be less than enthused at the idea... She knew he didn;t enjoy it and she wanted him to do what he wanted to do, not what brought in the money- they had plenty of time for all that stuff. "Why? We're doing fine..." She'd always encouraged him to follow his dream, right from then he;d left that summer to travel around the east coast 'finding' himself.
