Subject: She watched him at that and allowed her brow to crease into a slight frown at his tone. She could tell he;d worked himself into a mood and she didn't see why since she was just concerned for his happiness.... though happy seemed to be the last thing she was making him. She stood up quietly, easily hushed by his tone- a tone which was so alien to her form him, and headed intot he kichen to sort out some dinner for them.

  • He watched her go, the tension in his body making the baby obviously uncomfortable, so he let her down and leaned back on the couch, covering his eyes. It was his problem - he'd borrowed the money and now he needed to pay it back. With the little girl still clinging to the knees of his pants in a shaky standing position, he took his hands away from his face, but hesitated to follow her into the kitchen.
