Subject: She let out a sigh and arched her brows absently, shrugging it off as she set the pan over the heat and swirling the oil around the bottom. This bitter version of him was starting to grate at her a little... what had happened to her loving, caring, adoring boyfriend? "And when your fourty and looking back, wishing you could have followed your dreams and wishing I hadn't been there to interupt them , we'll both have to live with the consequence of that regret."

  • He cocked a brow that way - he didn't see borrowing the money as something she'd made him do, rather something that he had done for her, the same way he wouldn't regret a present that he gave to her. He pursed his lips a little bit at that and shook his head. "How were you here to interrupt them?" He wasn't following, he supposed, and he wasn't being bitter, just grumpy. If she had just accepted that he was going to the office and left it at that, he might have been able to handle it better and his mood would have remained where it was.
