Stables
Stables
After leaving the house, you follow another cobble-stone path down to a row of solid, spacious, brick stalls. These are Southern Estate Stables'. Each horse has its own stall labelled with a gold name plate. These stalls consist of built in troughs, one for food, one for water, attatched to one of the four walls . There are large windows to the rear of the stalls, with thick bars dividing the inside from out, whilst allowing plenty of fresh air and sun-light to enter. There are wooden doors, with HORSE-PROOF LOCKS, to the front of the stalls. The doors are in two parts, top and bottom, letting the top remain open, both open, or both closed for extra insulation. The stalls are kept clean, bedded with fresh straw, and the troughs are filled twice every day.
