Subject: Guess what I found

I was searching through my books today and ran across two I'd forgotten I had. There's The Story of Flight by Mary Lee Settle. It's got 86 pages, but it's very big print with lots of pictures. I also found Wilbur and Orville and the Flying Machine by Max Marquardt. It's from the Britannica Book Club and is an easy reader. I found another book in the same series about Thomas Edison.

I also found in a craft book how to make a whirlybird toy like the Wright brothers played with when they were boys.

I don't know how many times I've told my husband I wished Mrs. Edison had written a book. If you ever run across a book written by a mom of an inventor, let me know.

Happy Homeschooling!
